Welp, as for all of the wonderful things I told you I was going to do this past weekend . . . I actually did . . . do . . . them . . . and then some. I’se tired, ya’ll. I need Minne-NAP-olis. *corny*
I also need a deep tissue massage, a back-a-otomy, a fresh pedicure, and a sexy assistant to do my extras. Ha! And there is still more work to be done - yard work and spring cleaning, that is. Pictures and blurbage are forthcoming . . . stay tuned. The RADIO.BLOG is still underway, as well. Excuse me while I attempt to keep everything balanced.

What’s on deck for the Saucy Dame Dizzle this weekend? Plenty.
Mobb Deep Live at FIRST AVENUE
Ya boys, “Frick & Frack” are going to be in town tonite. I still can’t decide if I will be in attendance or not. I’m thinking I will, only providing the ticket price is “FREE Ninety-Nine”. Word on the street is that they got peeps ’stuck on the wackness’ of their live performances. And I’m not sure if I’m in the mood to listen to Prodigys lil frail tail, spout off verses such as the one in Mobb D’s newly released Blood Money.

Just cuz my site was ‘broken’, doesn’t mean my Olympus digital and social life was too. The Saucy Dame Dizzle always has an event to attend. The most recent shindig, VMG’s Party, was a hoot! I had a wonderful time. I thought for sure the Aswirl Twins would be present, but no such luck.
I would’ve taken more pics at the party, but I had on some killer high-heels which required a chica to remain seated half of the time. Only after 3 stiff “drinky-poos” did a chic forget she was walking on stilts. It’s amazing what alcohol can do - especially free alcohol. A dash of rum here. . . a splash of wine there . . .had me getting my twirly-twirly on without a hitch. Happy 10th Anniversary Vision Management Group!
Click on the pic below to see more fabu photos. Um, I’ve decided to refrain from captioning most of the pics. I could’ve hade ALOT of fun with it, but I’mma be good.
Rebuilding and Growing Through the Ugly. What Else Would I Be Doing?

Okay, you can stop the rioting; I’m back. *smile*
Fortunately I make sure to keep me some extra “swagger” on deck - in case of unforeseen scenarios, as such. Please believe I had to tap into my reserved ’swagger supply’ to get my levels of ‘gusto’ back up to par.
Shit, even the sauciest of the saucy can get wore down from time to time. I aint no mf’n superhero. I’se just a mere mortal tryna ride this life of mine, until the wheels fall off. Trust me, the road gets loooong, winding and bumpy. I am forever thankful for the support of family members and friends who help me navigate through the rough patches of my journey. Cruise control is nice, but isn’t always the most effective.
I am also thankful to the Creator, who built a woman like me to endure and press on. But then again, what choice do I have? Do or die, right? Keep pressing on, or stop sucking air. I chose life for the time being. And I know this may sound like I’ve just come back from Iraq, or that the doctors have just informed me I no longer have cancer * knock on wood*, or some sort of drawn out, Lauryn Hill speech . . . but I’m just sayin’ - I’m thankful for the support of my compadres and the internal strength I am blessed with.
Saucy Dame Delux, Homeland Security and a bunch of Monkey Business

Oh my goodness . . . where do I begin? I’ve told this story at least 50 times already, much to the delight of my family and friends. *sarcasm*
First and foremost, I would like to apologize to all people who have visited Saucy Dame Delux and were unable to access the site. I would like for you to know that series of events leading up to the errors you see, are totally out of my control. I am just now able to address the situation.
You see, what had happend was . . .
I got an email from my webhost, the other day. I opened it and read it - it said they were SUCKAS!
But on the real, the following is not a joke or embellishment of a story. Everything I write is the gospel truth.
Around 1:00 pm Eastern time, Wednesday May 10, 2006 - webserver alexandria36 (2mhost.com) ,which holds my account for saucydamedelux.com was unplugged by The US Department of Homeland Security.
Agents entered 2mhost.com’s data center to seize the server and hard drives (main and backup), because of suspected illegal contents (they believe it’s related to child pornography). They removed the drives to analyze its contents and logs. For obvious reasons, Homeland Security has been tight lipped with the details.
