I wrote about Minneapolis hometown talent RL (Robert Lavelle) Huggar a few months back ( Pre Homeland Security). C&D also ran a post on the same interview. . . but the difference between now and then is that I DIDN’T actually listen to RL’s (NEXTS) diss song “Hater In You”, which is aimed towards Jagged Edge, 112 & other R&B “N” words, until TODAY.
Yup, I read the long ass interview (which doesn’t appear to be available right now - LOL!) and big up’d NEXT because I think they are extremely talented and I would love for them to come back on the scene a KILL IT . But, I just never made time to listen to the song . . .
Sooooooo . . . . since VIBE is a tad bit tardy (about a good 3 months) with the newsflash, I figured I’d re-visit the topic. . . cuz now I’m kinda wondering WHY it was necessary to make this song. What’s up RL? You’re talking alot of ’smack’, just like Tupac Shakur, right before he got ‘popped’ for the very last time. Talk to me . . .
Can we just stick to making good music and hitting those vocal chords just right, puleeeeze? Thank you.

Geez, lately I’ve been poppin’ off at the keyboard alot in regards to the “Minne-Apple”. I hope don’t nobody run up on me and bust a bottle over my head or something. LOL! If you don’t hear from me in the next few days, there’s a chance someone saw the “hater in me” and retaliated. Call 911.

It makes no damn sense. Everybody is doing their own thing and RL is over here acting like a R&B-Rapper thug.

What’s up with this N—-? I guess he’s hard now that he’s wit 50 cent? Just make some music and do ya thing. Don’t know about the rest of the world, but those of us in Mpls. that know dude ain’t buyin’ the routine. Just get ya group on track Lavelle and then try to take out those that are on top.

I didn’t come on here to diss ma boy R.L. But I will say,who ever is really sittin’ up here waistin’ there time worryin about what he’s doi; he’s really not worryin at all about non of yall. The facts you claim to have more than likely aight even sufficient. So lets be real, who gon’ really call him out on anything that he’s doin…..? Exactly, so stop hate’n on him low_keyly, and find somethin else to do with your life, because this right here aight cuttin it.find a way to make some money like R.L. Cause he doin his own thang!!!!!
