Let the airbrushing begin ! ! !
I’m not too much of a Janet Jackson fan these days. I’ll always adore and respect her 80’s and 90’s pop chart glory, but after that I’se luke-warm on Damita Joe of the Jackson clan. Still, this here concept/ contest is worth sharing. So read up! As you may know, little Penny Woods is releasing a new album celebrating her 20 years worth of contributions to the industry.
And guess what?
She wants alla you graphic designers/illustrators/photoshop experts to put your best brushes on display and come out a WINNER. That’s right, YOU have the opportunity to design Janets next album cover (see link for details below). Janet will make the FINAL call on what cover will be used.
Shucks, If I had any talent as a graphics artist, I’d be all over it. But I’m still having a lovely time looking at (and rating) all of the submissions that are pouring in. There are some good ones . . . and some really, really crappy ones too.

Seriously, I’m going to have to try and get in on this. It’s great when artist support artist. We feed the needy, and they help feed our pockets. This is what a lot of non-creative, lacking direction wanna-be creative geniuses should do. Give work to the people who need it.
