African-Americans are turning to plastic surgery in record numbers. Why is that?
I too question - What is the cause for the rise in plastic surgery amongst African Americans; especially our women? It seems we use to be more confident, but there definitely is a trend of disatisfaction with our natural beauty. Then again, maybe this is nothing new, but the luxury of having the option to physical re-mold ourselves is more of a reality these days? Does extra money and video girls got educated womens thinkin’ maybe they should opt for a surgical transformation?
Something else to think about: Funny how all of the sudden plastic surgeons have taken the time to recognize the needs of their ethnic clients. Why now? Well, why not?! There is a whole brand new pool of money to dip into. Imagine all of the $$ that is to be made off of our insecurities.
