RADIO.BLOG: CHILL MODE

Dang. I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but the temperature in Minneapolis is straight up ROASTING. It’s at least 100 degrees here everyday - with no sign of change. The sun is relentlessly beating down on a chics head, somethin real drastic like. (I’ve been fading lots of ice cream and bubbly water). I mean, I enjoy the warm weather and sunshine - but that big ‘ol ball of fire hangin’ in the sky is working mad over time. And the humidity . . . OH WOW - it feels like I’m wearing a damp blanket everywhere I go.

And on a side note, I definitely don’t want no hot, sweaty dude laid up under me . . . or no where else around me. All this heat make the Saucy Dame Dizzle mean and surly.

IT’S BLAZIN! Makes me wonder how women in Afghanistan and such, endure rockin’ black clothing from head to toe, in the cruel and unforgiving heat of the desert. I just cain’t imagine being cloaked in all black from the “rooter to the tooter” and beyond All that black attracting the heat in the depths of the desert - without vegetation shade yourself with . . . no ice cream truck to chase after. A chic can’t even have the luxury of a red,white and blue bomb-pop on a hot, desert day. That must really SUCK! And why do I feel like some Einstein is going to answer my question in the comments section? Go ahead, tell me how keeping your entire body covered in the heat, actually keeps your body cooler . . .I’m still not buying it.

So anyhoo, I gotta stay cool . . . and in a peaceful frame of mind as well. Cuz the hot weather will make you want to knock a motherfucker out!!!! Which also means I am STILL taking a break from leaning and rockin’ with it and alla that junk. At the present moment I am residing in a HIP-HOP FREE ZONE. I don’t need to hear any aggressive, mind-numbing music right about now. Thus, I give you “Chill Mode RADIO”. I hope you will enjoy and appreciate my effort. Lookin’ to Shake that Laffy Taffy?
