Ryan Leslie . . . . Yup yup! Is he the next Teddy Riley? Well, if you ask him the answer is ‘yes’. One thing is for sure - homeboy knows how to market himself like nobody’s business. I can see his vision and smell his ambition. And quite frankly, that really turns me on.

“Flavor of Stank” Round Deux

Piping hot liquor breath, musty “Remy Indian” hair wefts, foul language & “badussy” - that’s what these skanks are made of - Or at least by what I can tell. Prior to this evening I refused to have anything to do with the Flavor of Love Round 2. But I heard it through the grapevine that “somebody” (oh just wait until I see you, Mr.Somebody - *lol*) just had to ‘go there’ and say I favor this broad by the way of physical apperance. Of course my curiousity got the best of me and now I’m immersed in this horrid mess of so-called reality televison. I don’t look ‘nan like this woman. Understand?
I’m not going to spend a whole lotta time breaking down the show. I’ll reserve that for the EXPERTS. I’ll let Trent break down the whole “doo-doo” scenario. But damn if the sista girl in the clip below aint going straight to hell in a hand-basket for mixing the creators name with four-letter words. Just ig’nant.
Want Some “Lip Chap” ? [Ha ha! Blondie on the left sounds like an annoying Betty Boop]

Um . . . the photo accompanying the following blurbage was taken sometime in 2005. This is my first time seeing it. *sighs* But um, yeah I’m sooooo happy to hear my beloved, D’Angelo, is making moves towards the light. He is truly one of my favorite artists. And as you can see - there is work to be done. Anyhoo, sounds like the kid is laying some of those nasty habits to rest and tryna “get-right”. I got your back, D - can’t wait to cop your next masterpiece. For real.
America, I feel a D’Angelo inspired RADIO.BLOG coming on . . . Ladies get ready.
D’Angelo is Ready for His Close-Up — Again.
” The neo-soul crooner who put many in a tizzy –by simulating a sex act in his music video for the song ‘Untitled’ (How Does It Feel) — is staging a comeback. ‘BV Newswire’ has learned that the Virginia native, legally known as Michael Eugene Archer, is fresh from a stint at the Antigua outpost of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre, where he was drying out from substance abuse. And he’s ready for business. Angie Stone’s “baby’s daddy” is in The Big Apple this week collaborating on new tracks with Common and Q-Tip, respectively, for their forthcoming album projects. The 32-year-old ‘Devil’s Pie’ singer also took meetings with Virgin Records urban music honcho Jermaine Dupri to explore ways to re-ignite his once thriving career. Veteran music executive Gary Harris (with whom he created magic with 1994’s groundbreaking ‘Brown Sugar’) is said to be working closely with the two-time Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter. ”

I’m HOOKED. I’ve missed some of Season 1, but I plan on playing “catch-up”, cuz what I have seen is more than intriguing. I think this show is brilliant and long overdue. Perhaps the world is ready? Season 2 airs on Wednesday, August 9th on Logo at 10pm. But how about you can watch it a day earlier online, starting Tuesday, August 8th (that would be TODAY people) on LogoOnline. Yup.
Here are some promo clips from Season 1:
It’s All G.O.O.D

Kanye West has been a busy lil “Louis Vuitton Don” - fo’ sho. 6 new albums from the self proclaimed ” World’s Best Dressed Label”, G.O.O.D (Getting Out Our Dreams) are gettin’ ready to drop this Fall. Of course there is always the possibility of projects getting pushed back - but for the most part it’s show and tell time come Autumn.
Side Note: After reviewing the ’steez’ of some of these Cats - I can’t help to think they all have a set matching pink tea cups and gold-trimmed lace doilies in their china cabinets. *lol* The whole “best dressed label” thing is kinda “pinkys ups” if you ask me. But anyways . . .
