I’m kickin’ off my ‘Friday Funny’ early. Reddy sent this to me and we are both going straight to hell for indulging in this mess. *lol* Just flat out stoopid. So much for “Urban Elegance” @ SDD.com. Dang.

  7. In all honesty, being that I am from the south, I find the two videos rather offensive. Something that seems to paint the picture, and re-enforce the idea that somehow southern blacks are slower than their northern counterparts.

  8. Well Sincere, I can understand your concern. Unfortunately, this video is from your neck of the woods. Southerners participated in the making of it and it is loaded with stereotypes. I agree.

    HOWEVER, we both know that not all southerners get involved in this silly mess. And like yourself, there are plenty of people who are offended by this display stereotypes. But, is it really any different than the N’ word being thrown around a thousand times on the “Boondocks” or a Dave Chappelle skit? There are ignorant/envelope pushing, people everywhere . . . all across the board.

    None of us are off the hook.

    What I would like to know is why were these videos made in the first place? Who was responsible for filming these videos? What is the venue and context in which they were created for? Who the hell is Ms.Peachez, anyway?

    I couldn’t find any other information on her . . .him.
