I aint got “a” man . . . I got 6 of ‘em. They all make me feel some kind of way, post by post, each and every rip. I’m never left unsatisfied and I rotate frequently. Damn it feels good to be on a brothers blogroll . . it lets me know I must be doing something right.

Welp, Ms.B did indeed announce that she’s dropping 3 albums in 2007. We’re 10 toes deep into the middle of May, leaving 7 months for it to all pop off. So, prepared to be rained of w/ a bevy of funk, soul, jazz and some *ahem* electronica. . .
Peep the video for one of her news songs, “Your Mind“, filmed in 2006 at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, Holland [ In which I've read has been OFF THE DAMN CHAIN every year of it's existence and I would LOVE to attend].
So anyhoo, dig the video. Badu sounds nice enough and she’s looking pretty doggone sexy these days (the MAC is on point). Plus, I love the flutes. Flutes are cool. Flutes remind me of kung-fu films and pimps. I’m sure if anything, some of y’all (Trent - *ha ha*) will appreciate the opening shot of Badu with some leggings clinging to her Bootay .

Strange, but true. . .
I think there is an up and coming serial killer in the neighborhood. I would say my neighborhood, but I’m just temporarily passing through (please believe). Then again, maybe I should claim this raggedy piece of territory, because in most of the horror films I’ve seen it’s usually the person who’s “just passing through” that gets chopped up, first.
All I know is that I’m a stranger in a strange land. I don’t know these mf’rs around here and they don’t know me. I can’t hardly wait to be all boxed up and loading my belongings unto a U-HAUL. When it all goes down, I’m gonna to tell the driver to burn rubber like we just robbed a bank and my granny needs a heart transplant . This neck of woods is not for the Dame Dizzle.
But anyways, back to the original topic . . .
