dang. i think i must’ve staggered all the way to the taxi after the show. too much stoli and redbull in the VIP section. security finally turned on the lights and made the whole scene bizounce. and i am still disappointed with myself for leaving my l’etoile magazine gift bag tucked underneath a table.
i woke up with cocoa puffs and marshmallows in my bed.
SHAME!
that was sunday night. it’s thursday morning and i’m just now getting around to updating this joint. i’m getting to old for the whole “scene maker” role. *ha ha* but the game still needs me. *lol*
shit was poppin’.

“La Dynamica” (vintage Celia Cruz) 2006
Hey Everybody!
Meet Derek Santiago.
He’s from NYC.
He’s a Gemini
He makes a living as an illustrator for many high end clients.
He hates writing bios about himself.
It is possible that Mark Ecko is swagger jacking his style for clout and profits (see Santiagos most recent Myspace blog post below)
Hmmm . . .
Karrine “Superhead” Steffans” Feels Sorry For Bloggers. . .

“Karrine says that blogs are not to be trusted and bloggers are really lonely people who are obsessed with other people’s lives, except for Perez, to whom she gives a shout out. (What, is she scared that he’ll Microsoft Paint a dick next to her face with cum dribbling down her chin? ” (more)
My response: I pretty much echo Nova’s statements. But I would also like add: This broad is SET-TRIPPING! For someone who doesn’t want to be judged or generalized, that is exactly what she did to an entire community. Also, not all blogs are celebrity gossip blogs. Soooo maybe she should clarify herself a bit further.
And what’s up with the whole California Valley Girl accent?

*ha ha*
I’m a funny chic, if I must say so . . .
Just pulled up the following rant, “1 is the Magic # ” from the archives. Everything I said is true too!
Read you some, take notes and apply generously.
My dating life flat-lined many moons ago (by choice). I’m gearing up bring some love and romance back into my life (baby steps, nothing major). Let’s just hope I don’t have to cut nobody in the process. I still know how to wield a knife. Don’t trip.

Coming From Where I’m From: Minnesota Pride

There are days when I curse all things Minnesota. I grow weary of the same ‘ol places and the same ‘ol faces. . .the same old & tired daily grind. . .country folks and mashed potato eating “pink-toes” that are poked fun at nation wide. . .Yeah, I live in the Midwest and it gets cold as hell in the winter and we aint never going to see no palm trees no time soon.
But you know what? Love it or hate, it’s MY city. If anything unfortunate were to happen to them same ‘ol places and faces I fuss about — I’d feel it in my soul. I was born and raised in north Minneapolis. I could move a million miles away and nothing will change that. This city is a part of who I am and I’m going to keep on reppin’ it until the casket drops.
In light of recent events I have put together a presentation of the place that laid the foundation of the Saucy Dame and many other fabulous people. All of the looove and all the evil. I have more pics to share when I update the official SDD.COM gallery (which needs drastic updating.) I couldn’t possibly cover the entire city in a few slide shows.
Minneapolis Luv,
Angelique -
