Breaking News: Major Casualties in Minneapolis Bridge Collapse . . .

I am alive! Obviously, or I wouldn’t be blogging. Fortunately, I wasn’t anywhere near the bridge when it crumbled into the Mississippi River. My phone has been ringing off the hook! For my Minneapolis/St.Paul people, please let me know you and your loved ones are okay. If you know of any casualties, please send word as soon as possible. This is just terrible! My heart goes out to anyone involved in this unfortunate incident. Events like this make me think of every one I love and even some folks I’m “on smalls” (bad terms ) with. Life can get cut short w/out any warning. . . we should nicer to each other.

A school school bus, hard working people, mothers, daughters, fathers and sons . . .
I work at the hospital. Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day. And there is a major thunder storm on the way. It’s going to be a very long night for many Minnesotans. Tomorrow evening if possible I will visit the sight and take photos.
Also, the Metrodome (which is located across the street from the county hospital) is jam packed with people who were attending a Minnesota Twins game. Everyone has been asked to remain in the dome, until to free up the roads for rescue teams, ambulances, etc.

Straight from the Desk of the “Young Lioness” . . .
“Hey y’all. Just letting you know that my album is not coming out this year. It has been push to the top of next year. Not my decision but I ain’t mad. It is what it is. I really am ready for y’all to hear it though!!! I wish I could invite all of y’all to my house. We’d have cocktails. I would cook y’all some really good down home Cajun dish. (You know New Orleans redbones are raised to show talent in the bedroom and the kitchen…. yada mean!) Me and The Black Moses Group (my band) could rock out in the backyard. Afterward we could get on some laid back sexy shit in my living room and listen to the The Young Lioness roar. (more )
