Remember the guy in junior high (middle) school who sat in the back of the class and scribbled in his notebook through out the entire period? Biology…health…social studies and recess…he doodled all up and through each session until the bell rang. As a matter of fact, he scribbled on anything he could get his hands on.
Usually a very quiet fellow, sure to mind his own business (because he was too busy working on his next masterpiece), he rarely had time for confrontations with other students — UNLESS someone got gully and criticized his art work or the classy bully tried to crumple up his 5th period ode to “He-Man” . And that’s around the same time things got SUPER ugly.
I could be way off point, but NDEUR strikes me as that type of guy. All of the quiet doodling has paid off. His custom shoe designs are the sauce.

Between working on the computer at the ’slave’ all day and my extra-curricular PC activities, I’m going BLIND ya’ll. Blind-d-d-d as in Melvin Van Peebles towards the end of editing Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song, blind. Designer bi-focals are popping up in my crystal ball, ya’ll. But that’s another story for another time. . .
Before I lose my vision completely I’d like to share a FAB website I encountered for the first time last night. Rarely do I have the time to surf blogs or websites these days but this one is my new heart of hearts.
Anyhoo, without further ado (for those who aint already in ‘the know’) . . .
FLY is just my type of hype.
I’m wondering why aint nobody told me nothing about all of the hotness going on up in that piece. It’s been almost a year since the initial launch! Ya’ll keeping secrets or do I live under a rock? Apparently it’s the latter because ‘Fly’ is up for a 2007 Black Weblog Award. Pure awesomeness indeed. Check it out and enjoy.

What’s poppin’ ya’ll? Did you enjoy your extended weekend? Was Labor Day good to you? Who hosted a backyard BBQ to bid our dear summer a proper farewell? I didn’t. So, I’ll have to live vicariously through you this time around…
Anyhoo, busy, busy over here. Updates are coming your way with new music and a few announcements too. Aight? My intentions were to update this piece over the past weekend but instead I opted to work on a few projects and write some letters that needed to be written (sucky letters nothing fun).
