Saturday afternoon I had a play date with my “Niecey Boo”. We spent the entire day canvassing south Minneapolis. We visited the duckies at Lake Calhoun…picked up a pair of baby pink aviator sunglasses in Uptown… and sipped on Orangina in Linden Hills. One of the reasons we made moves to the Linden Hills neighborhood is because the Saucy Dame Dizzle and her “Niecey Boo” love us some animals.

What her mother didn’t tell her is that I made plans to bring her to “Woofstock”, a festival for dogs and the people who love them. Events included a pet parade, live music, a visit from the “Fairy Dogmother” and a dog trick contest (very entertaining). All of which we shamelessly enjoyed. It was a blast, ya’ll.

Afterwards we went to a really neat bookstore by the name of Wild Rumpus. Wild Rumpus not only sells books, the store is full of critters… birds, cats, chinchillas, ferrets, rats, lizards, tarantulas, foreign chickens (that run free). Of course most of the “Rumpus” is contained to cages. It is all very clean, safe and odor free. It’s a really cool bookstore and I am glad to have someone to take with me, cuz the kid inside of me wanted to go!

Here’s a few photos….

And that my dear friends is how the Saucy Dame Dizzle rolled out on Saturday. To see what I was up to on Sunday… you’ll have to grab your Raspberry Beret cuz we’ll be doing MORE sight seeing Minnesota style …

Holla!
