So, I copped the joint, since we aren’t going to get the 3 album releases she spoke of. You have to listen to it more than 1 time. Don’t go off the 1st impressions of the album unless you can grasp it’s convex sonic pathway. You have to sleep with it, rock with it. It’s moving upward and beyond the r&b of standard. But, you know Mz. Badu keeps it in the stratosphere.

I knew that 3 albums was never going to happen. Too much time went by. Too many inside politics prevailed. She does work for a record company, not her own imprint label. Nor, does she have publishing or distributing rights to her work. Jay she ain’t. But, I’ll wait for her to put out what she wants me to hear every single time. No matter how long.

I’m with E, listen to it several times, then again it’s what I have to do with all her albums. In the end I end up LOVING them. It’s mos def interesting.

Ok, so looking over the album cover and the socialist, 60’s, Blaxploitation sound. We might just be getting those 3 album releases. Obviously not in consecutive months. But, the album is titled “New Amerykah, Pt. 1 (4th World War)”. I focus on the part 1. So, there must be a part 2 coming right? Not to mention the “4th World War”. So the next album might be titled “The Ebirth, A New Baduenium.” You know she’ll make up some shit like this.
Track 3, w/ Roy Hargrove on horns is so illa. Sonic is the vibe.

I Yi Yiiiii she is otha ish yo…I can’t get with it. But why is the hook from #1 embedded in my head..Promise Promise. LOL..
I’ma keep holdin my girl down tho..and listen to it over and over and over again until hopefully I start feelin it. This long awaited release seems like an Amerkyn mess. Maybe I’ll clean the house to it and the vibe will hit me..
