The Butterfly Bra - Taking Flight or a Hefty Flop?

“When a bra hurts you, it can change your personality.” - Jill Scott

According to Jill Scotts testimonial, the new “Butterfly Bra” is the best thang poppin’ for well endowed, “top heavy” women looking for greater support.
Being a ‘woman of substance’ myself, I was excited for the launch of what was promised to be under garments sent from the heavens above. Finally, no more bulges, shoulder aches and under-wire madness.
I addressed this issue 5 years ago and since then, little has changed for the plight of the big bosomed. It’s hard out here for us womens with the ‘tigolbitties’. I was excited for Scottl and the rest of ‘us’. AMEN to sexy and supportive undergarments! *shakes tambourine*
Well, from what I’ve seen online, I’m not feeling like a standing ovation is in order. I applaud the intent, but end result leaves me yawning in my seat. I mean, is that all? Is there more to come? Sure looks like a grand-mama bra collection if you ask me. Actually, does 4 pieces, two being of them panty girdles, make a ‘collection’?
I hope there is more designing in the works because what I’ve seen so far is a huge let down, which really surprises me, because I just knew Jilly was going to bring the hotness.
Anybody out there actually try on one of the butterfly bras yet? If so, holla us.
Inquiring minds want to know.

Next time I am in The Avenue I will try it out but I don’t like all those hooks and catches. It looks like with all that support the girls should be up riding high.

I just perused the site and I’m not impressed either. They could have done a whole lot better than this “army issued” stuff.

Ok, well I think in the world of cup captures, the women aren’t the ones designing the capturers for said cups. I believe the final cut of choice is made by a man. I hope women gain control over their own under-facilities. I always thought, how can a man make an item fit for a woman, better than a woman can?
Never the less, I can’t wait for the true freedom of the well endowed ladies. I would love to support you.

Just glad to hear someone use the term, “top heavy” in this decade.
Also as a dude I can say that the bra in question was not designed by a man. No dude would design a bra that looks like it came out of his Grandma’s closet.

Dont bother! I ordered this bra, and what a waste of time. After they got my order wrong, and I called and corrected them, I finally got my bra, What a let down. This bra is not as great as they have u believe. Sure there are plenty of hooks, but the straps are flimsy, it is way to low cut for a large busted woman, and it offers little support in the front. I was disappointed, I am sticking with the enell sports bra, which offers support and stays in place….Besides, of the $55.00 total cost, for bra, tax, shipping and the cost to send it back, I am only getting back $39.00….if u are looking for real support, then dont bother with this bra. I am disappointed, yet again.
