Ching-Ching Gettin’ Paid Over Here…

Looks like Gwen Stefanis’ fashion empire remains ‘trump tight’, as she and industry giant Coty haved teamed up to launch a Harajuku Lovers fragrance collection this September. Stefani created dolls based on herself and her four real-life backup singers, Love, Angel, Music and Baby — and turned them into scent bottles.
No doubt, a cyber presence for the product is in the works - HLfragrance.com will debut in Septemeber as well. Sign up and you’ll receive updates on the “World of Harajuku Lovers” as it all pops off .
Saucy Dame Dizzles Two Cents:
As darling as the dollies are, I’ll be waiting for the product to hit cosmetic counters before I decide to “rush it, or flush it“. At first glance, the initial feel of the marketing campaign has AVON written all over it - especially with the blonde geisha swagger in effect. Kinda corny (the marketing) if you ask me.
I don’t foresee Margaret Cho filling up her basket with these dandies. A few years back she compared Stefanis Harajuku Girls to Amos and Andy.
I don’t know about all of that, but what I do know is that despite what I, the “Dollairess” think; Stefani is about to sell a whole heap of these joints. Which takes us right back to the title of this post
.
I aint mad.
