Being a ‘woman of substance’ myself, I was excited for the launch of what was promised to be under garments sent from the heavens above. Finally, no more bulges, shoulder aches and under-wire madness.

I addressed this issue 5 years ago and since then, little has changed for the plight of the big bosomed. It’s hard out here for us womens with the ‘tigolbitties’. I was excited for Scottl and the rest of ‘us’. AMEN to sexy and supportive undergarments! *shakes tambourine*

Well, from what I’ve seen online, I’m not feeling like a standing ovation is in order. I applaud the intent, but end result leaves me yawning in my seat. I mean, is that all? Is there more to come? Sure looks like a grand-mama bra collection if you ask me. Actually, does 4 pieces, two being of them panty girdles, make a ‘collection’?

I hope there is more designing in the works because what I’ve seen so far is a huge let down, which really surprises me, because I just knew Jilly was going to bring the hotness.

Anybody out there actually try on one of the butterfly bras yet? If so, holla us.

I so, so, would like to get back to the art of crocheting. I don’t know how hook up sweaters or items that require complex stitching patterns, but when it comes down to making anything square (pot-holders, scarves, and blankets, kitchen rugs, etc.) I’m your girl. *lol* Problem is, I start a project and rarely finish it. Probably because I have the attention span of a 3 year old. But if I can just step up my dedication a little bit, ya’ll know I’d be rockin’ some bomb designs. It’s really not that hard. I just need to stop B.S.’n… A sister aint got arthritis. I do have some time. I also have a creative flair, so what am I waiting for?

I wrote this little ditty a few weeks ago. Today, I can’t say that I feel much different. The following is somewhat mild (trust me, I being blowing my stack on peeps.) I’ve calmed down over the years. I don’t clown nearly as hard as I use to. But still. Watch your mouth around me, yo. Be careful what you say - especially when uterus is gearing up for several days of war. Them raging hormones have me feeling like I want to stab a mf’rs face off and then grab a box of tissue so I can mourn their death all at once.

Truth is, I aint got the gusto to do neither, because I’m too broken down (to bone gristle) with aches, pains and fatigue and shit.

Then again, you just never know, I just might muster up enough strength to lay hellafied the smack down on that ass. So play your cards right. *wink*

Man, talk about “6 Degrees of Separation”…

Imagine my delight when I learned that my “B-Girl Be” (self portrait) inspired the ATL homey & artist on the rise, Goldi Gold of Jungle 45 to craft the “B-Girl Bandit” (see top right hand corner of the middle image above) piece featured in a well attended show in Charlotte, North Carolina (which I’ve heard is the “New Atlanta”).

That was a few weeks ago…

Now, imagine the twinkle in my eyes and the big ‘ol grin spread across my tired mug when I peeped Busta Rhymes bouncy new video “Don’t Touch Me”-Which ‘heads’ are crowning the return of the old (pre-steroided up, thick-necked and angry) “Busta Bus” and peeped “Big Lady Red”, the same lady my “B-Girl Bandit” piece hung out with in the videos backdrop.

Yesireeee. *smile*

That was tonight. You see, sometimes I be late on my current videos & stuff because I be busy with real ass life. Naw mean?

Anyhoo, the scenario makes sister feel goodddd. Not just for myself, but everyone involved. Jungle 45 is getting their video debut props via a really, really, FUNKY FRESH and FUN video brought to you by one my favorites, Busta Rhymes. And the Saucy Dame Dizzle is hot! Cuz afterall “I Am Hip Hop Son!!!”. LOL! Everybody’s winning. What’s not to love?
