KELECHI - HOW GREAT THOU A.R.T‏

K.E.L.E.C.H.I

Hello Lovelies,

I’ve been running all through the city lookin’ pretty and being witty. Check back soon for a recap on my adventures and some photo fun. Until then, dig the work of illustrator extradonaire, KELECHI.

He’s an ARIES child, born in Nigeria, and his work makes me desire to see my image in the form of a “Super Shero”. Maybe he can attach my head to one of those sexy, figure 8, comic book diva type of ‘frames’, that the good creator declined to bless me with. *ha ha*

The above tribute to Kelis is nice, but there is even more niceness, some dynamic ish, saturating his Myspace profile.

Stop by and get your fantasy on.

SNAP-O-RAMA: SCION ART TOUR INSTALLATION 4 - “It’s Beautiful World”

SCION ART TOUR INSTALLATION 4 - “It’s Beautiful World”

So yeah, your girl Saucy has been hanging out with the hipsters (Think complicated hairstyles, Urban Outfitters, skinny jeans for both genders, colored tights and stuff like that…)

Hell, I’m a ‘ghetto hip-hop hipster’, so I blended in just fine. And I made some groovy new acquaintances too. Shouts to my boo, Tobin Russell. He’s down with the Saucy Dame Dizzle. Fuck wit’ him.

My Friday evening at the Rogue Buddha Gallery was filled with art, wine, Colt 45, candle lit ambiance, hip-hop blends and very cool people. It was a hipsterish time to be had by all.

Sleeve Face: Run For Cover, Honey!

Sleeve Face

Got some old vinyl, a handy-dandy camera, loads of creativity? Perhaps you and your artsy-fartsy buddies should be “Sleeve Facing”.

It’s a hoot! And it’s all the rage in the UK right about now.

What is “Sleeve Facing” ? , you ask.

Lemme break it down/cut & paste the answer for you . . .

Sleeve Face: One or more persons obscuring or augmenting any part of their body or bodies with record sleeve(s) causing an illusion.

You take a sleeve. You take a face. You make Sleeveface.

Got it?

Good!

Watch the video tutorial and take a crack at it. You might be surprised how many amazing and interesting looks you cook up. No need to be shy about it, as there is a large community of “Sleevefacers” waiting for you to join the crew. I plan to mess around and get my “Sleeve Face” sometime soon. Of course I’ll share the results. I’d really like see more hip-hop, r&b, funk and soul faces. Now ‘that’ will “the business” for sure. *wink*
