Obama, Designer Endorsements, and the Great Debate (Maybe?)

Tomorrow evening I plan to attend my first ever Presidential Debate Party providing the debate is not “suspended”, due to our countries financial crisis John McCains declining poll numbers. For a hearty chuckle, check out David Letterman CLOWNING McCain for “suspending” his visit on the Late Night Show.

I amongst others will be joining the African American Caucus of the DFL party in conjunction with the Obama Campaign in Minnesota to witness history in the making. If you are in the Twin Cities area see details below for the time and location of the gathering.

Hmmm…I wouldn’t mind sporting an oh so fashionable (and hella trendy *smirk*) “Change Ladies” T-Shirt, designed by Beyoncé & Tina Knowles for House of Deréon. But considering the state of the economy (and my pocketbook), I don’t feel it’s appropriate to spend $60.00 on a t-shirt. It’s cute though, huh?

Likey the shirt? For more Obama inspired “Runway to Change” (celebrity and designer endorsed) items, visit Barack Obamas official campaign site, here.

Just a heads up though — Do NOT wear your Obama T-Shirt or buttons, etc., to the Polls on November, 4th. (PLEASE read).

Otherwise, Barack yourself out!

Check back in for “Saucy Snippets” and a recap of the debate par-tay, soon. Aight?

Peace, Love and Politics,

Saucy Dame Dizzle -

A Serious WTF Moment: Blacks Against Obama

A (small) group of protesters interrupted an Obama rally in Coral Gables Florida — Boooing his speech on the economy and holding up signs that read: “Blacks Against Obama,” “Jesse Jackson hates Obama,” “Obama for Gay Marriage”, and then there was this one — “Obama Endorsed by the KKK.” (Oh wow!)

There’s 46 days left in the election. I wonder what’s next.
